Ladies,
It’s late on Thursday night. I’m getting very sleepy, and I have to work in the morning, but I wanted to share the rest of the wedding pictures with you.
You know, since it’s “Wedding Week” here at Beneath My Heart and all.
So this post is going to be mostly pictures and a few words. :)
The dinner rehearsal was held at a local golf clubhouse…
There was corn hole set up in the back of the club house for the boys to play…
The happy couple…
My husband with our oldest son, Jonathan.
Me with the Mother of the Bride, my sister, Cyndi…
My little guy, Eli, was practicing to be the ring bearer. His Uncle Blake put the black stickers on his face. Eli said he was a “baseball player ring bearer”. :0)
The BIG DAY!!!!
Eli all dressed up in his tuxedo. He said he looked “aw-tome!”
Courtney could hardly contain her excitement!
A little ride on the church elevator to get to the sanctuary…
Eli with the beautiful flower girls.
He kept holding their hands and asking them to dance with him. I have video of them dancing in the hallway…
Watch out ladies!
I was so honored that my niece wanted her ol’ 39 year old Aunt to stand up with her on her wedding day! (Though it was a little tough getting in to that dress! Can you say girdle?)
Me with my hot husband!….
The Crew!
(left to right)My Jonathan and Luke, Ryan (nephew), My Adam, Cory (Nephew), My hubby and Eli.
The Reception
The reception was held at the groom’s grandparent’s home. They have a beautiful back yard and it made the perfect setting for a reception.
The centerpieces were hydrangeas, peonies, and green apples in a vase full of water. Gorgeous!
The lemonade and cokes were served in canning jars. The perfect Southern touch. Loved it!
The food was absolutely amazing!!! Look at that centerpiece!
A friend/relative took this next picture for me. She said, “Let me take it so you can put it on your blog!”
I love that people read my blog!
Do you hear me?!!!
I love you guys!!!
The candy bar…
(I’m thinking one of my boys probably got their fingers on this chalkboard before I could take a picture.)
There were bags on the table to fill up with candy as a wedding favor. Let’s just say my boys loved this table! I think Eli had about 15 ring pops that night!!!
The dance floor really got busy later that night. I have some very incriminating video of a “dance off” that I would love to be able to upload and share with you. Maybe soon…
Me with my precious Daddy. This was our first really BIG event without Mom. It was a hard weekend for Dad. He was really feeling her absence.
She would have absolutely LOVED this day.
We missed you, Mom.
When it was time for the newlyweds to leave, we all lit our 3 foot sparklers…
And we made a tunnel for them to exit through…
(they left too quickly for me to snap a picture!)
Cyndi and my precious Aunt Donna (Dad’s sister).
The sparklers were a huge hit with the kids.
I’m sure there is a safety hazard somewhere in this picture.
Luckily, there was only one small burn on one of my boys by the end of the night. Wow! That’s pretty good for my crew! :)
And that's it!
Such a great weekend!
I am still trying to catch up on my sleep, though.
I hope you have a blessed day!
Traci

Traci, what an absolutely stunning wedding, so pretty! And girl, you and your hubby are such a handsome couple. You look great, I thought you were younger than 39. :) Good looks obviously runs in your family.

ReplyDeleteI'm back again. . . just to say. . . you surely don't think 39 is old, do you?
ReplyDeleteIt makes perfect sense to me that Courtney would have chose her wonderful, beautiful young Aunt Traci to be one of her attendants. :)

My sister in law had sparklers as wedding favors for her July 6th wedding- she and her new husband were escorted into the reception by firemen since someone lit them in the hotel...!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun weekend! You look great- that girdle must have done its trick! :)
